Magento 2 grid provides the admin with an access to the store’s data in the backend through tables. The admin can sort or filter the data as per their needs.
The admin can also perform a mass action, and search for a specific entry in the backend admin grid. The backend grid facilitates the admin to filter the database by different columns in the filter area. However, sometimes when you have created custom columns in Magento 2, you may require to disable filter for column in Magento 2 grid.
There is no default option to disable the filter for column in Magento 2 grid. Therefore, you may require to opt for a programmatic solution to do that! It can be easily done by removing a line of code from the Magento 2 source file.
